Chiangmai Bike Week 2007 - The event
This year saw many old and new faces joining together may it have been sponsors,vendors,sopporters or patrons from far.Harley Davidson's display was a piece of modern art clearly portraying their 105 years heritage.Yamaha's set up and show was solidly convincing marking the arrival of a Japanese contender on the Northern biker scene.Shopping was at it's best rangeing from apparel to accessories and memorabilia.Bikes on display saw everything from an exotic MV Agusta to a toddler sized custom chopper.As ever the gorgeous presenters and dancers ensured eye gymnastics through the evening.The bike contest saw some stunning entries whilst the first ever dance contest brought decibel high roars from the crowd.A touching moment of paying tribute to HM King Bumiphol Aduljadej's 80 th Birthday as well as the release of a traditional flying hot air balloon.Music was diversified running from the 60's Bill Haley to today's Coldplay,cuisine widely praised and liquids in abundance throughout the party.Part of the proceeds were presented to the underprivileged hilltribe children of the Phanokok School.
All in all a great and succesful party.We the North Comets Motorcycle Club wish to extend our gratitude to all sponsors,vendors,supporters and patrons for making this happen. |
