The North Comets Motorcycle Club was founded back in 1998 by a group of motorcycle aficionados.From the early days until todate all founding members are still actively involved in the running of the club.Coming from various paths of life they have made it their goal to bring bikers from around the globe to experience the beautiful surroundings of their native or adopted homegrounds of Chiangmai.
Mostly being in their 40's,the North Comets are often considered a Gentlemen's Club who very often are in the public limelight promoting anti-drugs,anti-drunk-driving and helmet campaigns.
The ChiangMai Bike Week concept originates from this club and has grown to become one of it not the most popular biker's meetings in the Kingdom of Thailand attracting more than a thousand bike lovers from around the globe. The club's slogan summarizes the being of the club :
